Copitech , a company specializing in manufacturing coating powders for pharmaceuticals and health functional foods, has signed an OEM production contract with Roquette, a global food and pharmaceutical raw material company from France, and has begun full-scale production of its plant-based high-performance coating agent, ‘ReadiLycoat.’
The two companies signed a technology transfer and global distribution agreement in February. With the OEM contract that followed, Copitech will be responsible for manufacturing and supplying Roquette’s ReadiLycoat products as a major production base for the domestic and global markets. With the full operation of the OEM production system, the two companies have established a production and supply system that can efficiently respond to the increasing demand from all over the world.
Kopitech has successfully produced and delivered more than 2.5 tons of ReadiLycoat to Roquette. This delivery is considered a significant achievement that demonstrates product quality and production capacity, and will lead to increased volume and regular supply in the future.
ReadiLycoat is a high-performance coating agent based on plant-based raw materials that maintains the quality of tablets and health functional foods while ensuring rapid dissolution and durability. Roquette is developing this product as its core coating platform along with Tabshield®, which was developed independently by Copitech, and is further strengthening quality and supply stability through cooperation with Copitech.
Along with this, Kopitech has also begun developing new coating products in earnest by utilizing its existing technology and manufacturing know-how. Currently, product testing is in progress through collaboration with domestic and international health functional food companies, and the goal is to create new demand in the global market through high-functionality, high value-added products. The plan is to strengthen its technology-centered sustainable growth strategy by seeking differentiation from existing products.

With this collaboration, Kopitech plans to accelerate the expansion of its customized product portfolio and further solidify its position in the global market based on its own technological competitiveness. In addition, it plans to strengthen joint technology development and market response capabilities with Roquette across the health functional food and pharmaceutical sectors.
