
Daejeon City held the '7th Biotech Korea' event with promising local bio companies at the Daejeon Convention Center (DCC) on the 24th. Hosted by Daejeon City and organized by Daejeon Techno Park, the event was designed to support investment attraction for promising local bio startups and promote technology exchange.
This event is the seventh, following the sixth event held in October last year, and was planned to promote early-stage bio companies and encourage private investment.
Five companies, including ▲VPSoft Co., Ltd. ▲Hguard Co., Ltd. ▲SIS Sensor Co., Ltd. ▲GNC Bio Co., Ltd. ▲Bliss Lifetech Co., Ltd., participated in the IR (Investor Relations) presentation and introduced their technologies and business strategies.
Many venture capitalists, including Low Partners, Samik Mats Ventures, and Daedeok Venture Partners, also visited the site and focused on the company presentations, and during the Q&A session that followed, there was an in-depth discussion on each company's commercialization strategy and growth potential.
In addition, CEO Pil-Han Kim of Ibeam Technology, a leading company in the field of biomicroscopy that was listed on KOSDAQ in August of last year, held a conference on the topic of ‘Commercialization of Biodeep Tech Equipment Technology: From the Lab to the Global Market.’ Technology commercialization experience and overseas expansion strategies were shared.
Daejeon City plans to continue supporting related IR events in the future to help local companies expand investment attraction and grow their businesses.
