Gyeongnam Center, 'Youth Banana Lounge Membership' Launch Ceremony Held

The Gyeongnam Creative Economy Innovation Center (CEO Noh Chung-sik) held the 2nd inauguration ceremony for the 'Youth Banana Lounge Membership' at the Gyeongnam Youth Entrepreneurship Support Center within the center on the 15th. Approximately 60 young (potential) entrepreneurs and related persons from the Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam regions attended the event.

'Youth Banana Lounge Membership' is a youth entrepreneurship support program and is the representative program of the Gyeongnam Youth Entrepreneurship Support Center located on the 3rd floor of the Gyeongnam Creative Economy Innovation Center. Membership members can use the youth-only entrepreneurship support space and, through benefits such as entrepreneurship education, consulting, networking, and office space provision for local youth aspiring and early-stage entrepreneurs, it serves as a hub for the local youth entrepreneurship ecosystem, allowing them to prepare for actual entrepreneurship.

The inauguration ceremony began with an introduction to the membership program and benefits, followed by a tour of the 3rd floor startup support space, self-introductions by participants, and networking, and future operation plans and activity directions were shared.

At the 'Monthly Trend Briefing' that followed, a special lecture was held on the topic of 'Local Startups Utilizing Local Resources'. Lee Ga-hyeon, CEO of Bamtol Co., Ltd. in Hadong, shared 'Stories of Startups and Expansion of Brands that Embrace the Region', and Choi Bo-yeon, CEO of Badagongyongryong in Goseong, gave a presentation on the topic of 'Workation Strategy: Experimenting in the Region and Expanding through Connection'.
This was followed by a panel discussion based on preliminary questions and an on-site Q&A session, where participants freely exchanged opinions.

CEO Noh Chung-sik said, “Gyeongnam Youth Entrepreneurship Support Center has gone beyond simple space support to become a community-based entrepreneurship platform where young people interested in entrepreneurship can participate and grow voluntarily.” He added, “Gyeongnam Creative Economy Innovation Center will continue to provide support in various ways to ensure sustainable growth of the entrepreneurship ecosystem and expand the base for youth entrepreneurship.”
