Goonies Selects 'Blocky' as Official Distribution Partner in Korea

Goonies Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Goonies), a domestic company that develops and distributes creative educational content, announced on the 16th that it has signed an official partnership with China's leading figure brand Blokees and will begin full-scale offline distribution business centered on domestic GT channels (stationery stores, kids' cafes, board game cafes, etc.).

Through this contract, Goonies has secured the right to supply various global IP-based figure products of Blocky to the domestic GT channel, and also plans to distribute them online through its online mall (apptoys.co.kr).

Bloki is a brand developed by Shanghai Bloks Technology, headquartered in Shanghai, China. It exports products to over 100 countries around the world based on its collectible random box system, high-quality design, and reasonable prices. It was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX) on January 10, 2025, and its current market capitalization is known to be around 4 trillion won.

Based on this partnership, Goonies plans to develop a marketing strategy utilizing exclusive POP and diorama-type exhibition kits for each series and expand brand visibility within GT channels. In addition, the company plans to actively utilize the structure that allows it to preemptively introduce Blocky’s new IP product line to the domestic market to expand its position in the market.

Goonis CEO Lee Yoon-jae said, “This collaboration will go beyond simple import and distribution and will be an opportunity to provide domestic consumers with a new content experience in the global collectible figure market.”
