DeepX (CEO Nok-won Kim) , an AI semiconductor company, announced on the 25th that it officially participated in the '2025 World Economic Forum (WEF)' Summer Forum held from June 24th to 26th. This is the second time it has participated following last year, and DeepX attended as a representative of global AI semiconductor companies.
At this forum, DeepX emphasized the need for high-efficiency, low-power AI semiconductor technology and introduced a sustainable technology introduction strategy for popularizing AI. CEO Nok-won Kim participated as an official speaker and presented on ▲ AI technology development direction centered on energy efficiency ▲ Energy credit system proposal ▲ Global standardization of AI semiconductors ▲ Current status of Korea's deep tech ecosystem, etc.
“AI semiconductors are not just a simple technology, but a key element leading to the reorganization of the global supply chain and sustainable growth,” said CEO Kim, emphasizing the social role of energy-saving AI technology and the need for international cooperation.
DeepX has consistently presented its ultra-low-power on-device AI semiconductor technology as an alternative to overcome the limitations of existing data center-centered AI computing structures. In particular, early this year, it contributed to the official platform of the World Economic Forum, pointing out the problems of power consumption and carbon emissions due to AI processing, and proposed policy responses and the international introduction of an energy credit system.
Through this forum, DeepX has discussed strategic cooperation with governments, global technology companies, and investment firms from various countries, and plans to accelerate the global spread of AI semiconductors by expanding cooperation at the B2G and B2B levels.
The company plans to continue to build a global cooperation model that can achieve technological innovation, environmental sustainability, and economic value under the vision of ‘AI that helps people and the planet.’
