Airability, a future aviation mobility solutions company, announced that it will participate in 'Xponential 2025' held in Houston, USA from May 19 to 22, 2025. Xponential is a large-scale exhibition representing the global unmanned systems and autonomous technology industry, and is a place where various industries such as aviation, logistics, and defense from each country present the latest technologies and seek cooperation opportunities.
At this exhibition, Airability will unveil the vectored thrust-based eVTOL (vertical takeoff and landing) drone 'AB-U60'. The AB-U60 is a medium-sized eVTOL drone with a maximum takeoff weight of 60kg, and can be used in various mission environments such as forest fire surveillance, maritime security, and military supply transport. Airability recently completed the development of the AB-U60 prototype, successfully performed the maiden flight evaluation, and is accelerating its goal of commercialization within the year.
At this exhibition, Airability will introduce anti-drone solutions based on AB-U60 as a main theme. With the recent unstable international situation, countermeasures against illegal and malicious drones are emerging as important issues. Accordingly, Airability is promoting the installation of cost-effective anti-drone neutralization mission equipment using unmanned aerial vehicles capable of high-speed and long-distance flight. This is a technology that detects drone flight and effectively neutralizes it, and is expected to present solutions to various illegal activities and threats using drones recently.
Additionally, Airability will participate in the Korea-North Dakota Business Forum during Xponential 2025 to discuss ways to collaborate on building a global UAS (Unmanned Aerial System) supply chain. The forum is an event to strengthen cooperation between North Dakota, which has established itself as a hub for the UAS industry in the U.S., and Korean air mobility companies. Airability plans to actively strengthen its position in the North American market and explore global partnership opportunities.
“Participating in Xponential 2025 will be an important stage to widely publicize Airability’s technological prowess in the global future air mobility market and to discover new partnership opportunities,” said Jinmo Lee, CEO of Airability. “Through this exhibition and forum, we plan to actively introduce what kind of value our cutting-edge technology can create in various industrial fields.”
