
The '32nd Next Generation Women Leaders Conference' hosted by WIN (Women in Innovation, Chairperson Kim Mi-jin), a non-profit organization comprised of female corporate executives, will be held at the JW Marriott Hotel Seoul on the 16th.
The 'Next Generation Women Leaders Conference' is a place to seek wisdom to address and resolve various issues that women are concerned about as they grow as leaders. This conference will discuss the theme of 'Are you a talent in the AI era? Yes, you are!' and seriously consider the unique human capabilities that are more necessary in an era where technological development is accelerating, the appropriate talent image for a changing era, and the level of preparation of female leaders for this.
This conference will be moderated by Lotte Chemical Managing Director Cho Ui-kyung and McKinsey & Company Director Bae Hyeon-jeong, and will begin with an opening by Chairman Kim Mi-jin. Professor Kim Nan-do of Seoul National University will give a keynote speech on the strengths of female leaders, including the unique human ability “human skills” that shine in the AI era. In addition, WIN mentors will share their experiences and thoughts with 280 participants through group mentoring, and the conference will end with participants’ comments.
The 'Next Generation Women Leaders Conference' is a conference that has been held twice a year since 2009 to develop the capabilities of female mid-level managers working in domestic and foreign companies, corporations, or accredited institutions. Conference participants are being accepted on a first-come, first-served basis through the WIN homepage.
WIN President Kim Mi-jin said, “As the use of AI within organizations rapidly increases, there is a growing vague fear of the changing times and concerns about leadership in the new era.” She added, “I hope that this conference will be an opportunity to discover our strengths as members of corporate organizations and as next-generation female leaders, and to seek together the answers required in this rapidly changing era.”
