Meraki Place Signs Business Agreement with Welt

Meraki Place (service name: My Doctor) announced on the 15th that it signed a business agreement with Welt for non-face-to-face consultation-based digital therapeutic prescription and monitoring. Through this agreement, My Doctor platform users will be able to receive prescriptions for Welt's digital therapeutic 'Sleep Q' through non-face-to-face consultation. Through this, patients with sleep problems can receive non-face-to-face consultation and undergo sleep treatment along with expert consultation. Afterwards, a system will be provided to receive continuous management and feedback through a remote monitoring function.

SleepQ is a digital therapeutic device (DTx) approved by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) that provides cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT-i) digitally for the treatment of insomnia. This treatment includes sleep restriction therapy, stimulus control therapy, cognitive restructuring, relaxation therapy, and sleep hygiene education, and boasts clinically proven effectiveness in helping patients improve their sleep conditions on their own.

“We are delighted that this collaboration will provide users of the My Doctor platform with the opportunity to address their sleep issues more effectively,” said Seon Jae-won, co-CEO of Meraki Place. “Digital therapeutics will become an important element in improving accessibility to healthcare and quality of care in the future, as they will be more closely linked to non-face-to-face treatment.”

Welt CEO Kang Sung-ji said, “SleepQ is the latest digital therapeutic approved by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, and is a reliable product that is actually prescribed at Severance Hospital and other hospitals.” He added, “I am very pleased that more people can access SleepQ through non-face-to-face treatment technology.”
