– Achieved the highest quarterly performance since listing, recording sales of KRW 5.1 billion and operating profit of KRW 1.8 billion in the first quarter of 2025
-Exploring growth opportunities through expansion of the 'Entertainment Font' business and entry into new businesses

Content creator platform company Sandoll (CEO Youngho Yoon) announced on the 14th that it recorded sales of 5.1 billion won and operating profit of 1.8 billion won based on consolidated performance for the first quarter of 2025. This is a 60% and 1,511% increase, respectively, compared to the same period last year, and it achieved the highest quarterly sales since going public.
This performance increase is analyzed to be due to the synergy effect between the two companies through the acquisition of Yoon Design in 2024, the expansion of orders for fonts exclusively for domestic and foreign companies, and the market environment in which the importance of fonts has been further highlighted due to the rapid growth of short-form content and creator platforms.
Sandol's own font platform 'Sandol Cloud' is the platform with the largest number of Korean fonts in Korea, providing a font environment that meets the needs of various customers. In addition, it has continuously improved content quality and enhanced user experience, while increasing font utilization in various industries such as video, webtoons, and commerce. As a result, the number of Sandol Cloud subscribers has been steadily increasing, and platform sales have also been growing steadily.
A Sandoll official said, “Fonts are now a key element that determines the identity of a brand and the completeness of content beyond a simple design asset,” and added, “This year, we will further strengthen the competitiveness of our font platform to broaden our customer base and gradually expand our ‘entertainment font’ business that we are strategically fostering. We will also discover new business opportunities outside of fonts and strive to increase shareholder value through continuous growth.”
In 2014, Sandoll launched the first domestic subscription font platform, ‘SandollCloud’, and began providing font cloud services based on encryption technology. Various domestic and foreign font companies and independent designers are participating in SandollCloud, and it supports 16 multilingual characters. It also provides the largest number of multilingual free fonts in Korea. Free fonts are classified into two types: ‘free use and limited scope’, eliminating the inconvenience of users having to check the scope of use one by one, and free font pages do not display external advertisements, allowing convenient use of fonts.
In particular, in June 2024, the company acquired Yoon Design, one of the leading font companies in Korea, and established the largest font platform in Korea, securing an unrivaled position with no competitors in Korea.
Here, Sandoll has been recognized for its deep understanding of Hangul and world-class font planning and production capabilities, and has produced fonts for global big tech companies such as Microsoft, Apple, IBM, and Samsung. It has developed basic Hangul fonts including ▲Malgun Gothic, which is installed by default in MS Office, ▲Apple iOS system font ‘Apple SD Sandoll Gothic NEO’, and ▲Google/Adobe ‘Bon Gothic’, and is in charge of ▲producing fonts for the Chinese character cultural sphere (CJK, Chinese, Japanese, Korean) of IBM Plex, a multilingual font series of IBM. In Korea, it has led the planning and development of exclusive fonts for companies such as ▲Samsung ▲Hyundai Kia Motors ▲Woowa Brothers (Baedal Minjok) ▲Naver ▲Kakao ▲Hyundai Card ▲Toss ▲Yogi Eottae.
