Daejeon Innovation Center, Recruiting Participating Companies for Promising Technology Startup Investment Attraction Program

Daejeon Center for Creative Economy and Innovation (CEO Daehee Park, hereinafter referred to as Daejeon Innovation Center) announced on the 13th that it is continuously recruiting participating companies for the 'Startup:D Open Window Program', a '2025 Startup Investment Attraction Support Project' to support the initial investment attraction and growth of promising technology startups.

This project was planned with the goal that the Daejeon Innovation Center would discover and support technology-based startups, strengthen the investment capacity of companies, and link them to actual investment attraction. In particular, the Daejeon Innovation Center and investment companies belonging to the Daejeon Regional Tips Operations Council are working together to review companies’ investments and recommend Tips.

The recruitment target is promising technology-based startups including startups established within the past 3 years with headquarters or main business locations in the Daejeon area, and will focus on discovering companies in ultra-gap and deep tech fields such as artificial intelligence (AI), bio/healthcare, autonomous driving, mobility, aerospace, and small and medium-sized businesses.

Selected companies will be provided with various growth support benefits, including customized diagnosis for each company, IR presentation, business verification and strategy establishment support, initial investment through Daejeon Innovation Center’s own fund, and TIPS recommendations.

In particular, the commercialization verification and strategy establishment support program plans to provide verification and advanced support for all areas including item verification, technology/market analysis, competitor analysis, business model and profit model analysis, R&D and patent analysis, and business roadmap, focusing on companies among IR participating companies that are subject to investment review, and to provide opportunities for companies to increase actual investment attraction.

IR presentations will be held offline a total of three times: 1st on June 11th (1st), 2nd on July 30th (2nd), and 3rd in September (in conjunction with Startup Korea Investment Week). Participating companies will be selected through a preliminary corporate diagnosis and feedback process, and will be conducted jointly with local TIPS operators.

Through this project, Daejeon Innovation Center aims to strengthen the initial investment attraction capabilities of startups, expand contacts with local investors, and activate investment attraction, thereby providing opportunities to secure startup funds in the early stages of business and establish a foundation for growth.

Park Dae-hee, CEO of Daejeon Innovation Center, said, “Startup:D Open Window will be a starting point for the growth of technology-based startups and linkage with private investment,” and added, “Daejeon Innovation Center will continue to provide generous support and collaboration to help local startups make a leap forward.”
