Trimble Korea Holds 'Tekla User Day'

Trimble Korea announced on the 13th that it will hold 'Tekla User Day 2025' on Thursday, May 15th at GB Gavin Art Hall in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.

This event was designed to bring together users of Trimble's BIM software, Tekla, and construction industry experts to share practical application cases and technology development directions from structural design to steel fabrication and construction.

The event will begin with a welcoming speech by Trimble Korea CEO Park Wan-soon, and will consist of Trimble expert sessions and customer case presentations. Presentations will be attended by Trimble Korea Director Lee Hoon-nyeong, Pro Jeon Seong-min, Pro Kim Hye-won, and Manager Jeong Min-ho, and clients such as Seedsoft, Changshin Engineering, Beam Partners, and DSTECH will be presenting based on their field experience.

In particular, the domestic launch of the steel fabrication management system, Tekla PowerFab, will be the main agenda at this user day. Tekla PowerFab 2025 features significant improvements in the efficiency and collaboration of the steel fabrication workflow through new production schedule management functions and improved ABM functions. Trimble will also introduce ways to substantially increase the productivity of steel work through AI-based drawing automation and welding automation functions.

In addition, various technologies will be shared, including ▲Trimble Connect Dashboard-based collaboration solution ▲CostBIM technology trends ▲Grasshopper-based Tekla modeling automation ▲Drawing automation and inspection process ▲AI utilization cases. In addition, 11 types of 'DS Components' optimized for domestic steel design will be distributed free of charge. These components are used to automate steel joint design and increase design efficiency.

Park Wan-soon, president of Trimble Korea, said, “Tekla User Day is a place of communication to share practical technologies that reflect the needs of the field in a rapidly changing construction environment.” He added, “Trimble will continue to advance BIM technology to increase customer productivity and quality and contribute to the expansion of the smart construction ecosystem.”
