EU Business Hub to Host 'Green Low Carbon Technology Korea 2025'

The 'Green and Low-Carbon Technologies Korea 2025' exhibition and consultation, held as part of the EU Business Hub program, will be held at the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas on June 11th and 12th.

The ‘Business Exhibition’, held at the Orchid Room from 10am to 6pm, will feature up to 50 promising European SMEs and startups covering a wide range of fields including clean energy technologies, energy systems, environmental monitoring and assessment equipment, resource circulation, environmental and climate change mitigation solutions, and will showcase the latest green, low-carbon technologies and innovative solutions. Through the exhibition, the EU Business Hub will provide Korean companies with an opportunity to experience first-hand the products, services and technologies of European companies and discuss collaboration possibilities through 1:1 business meetings.

On the afternoon of June 11, a 'Business Networking Reception' hosted by the EU Delegation to Korea will be held in the Chrysanthemum Room. It will be a place where European and Korean companies can discuss and exchange ideas about the direction of innovation in the green technology industry in a comfortable atmosphere, and key figures from domestic industries will also be invited.

Domestic related companies and organizations that wish to participate in Green Low-Carbon Technology Korea 2025 can apply for free through pre-registration on the EU Business Hub Korea website, regardless of size. They can check the list of European companies scheduled to participate on the website and express their interest in meeting with companies. Professional interpretation services will also be provided to support smooth communication during business meetings.

The EU Business Hub has successfully supported practical business cooperation opportunities between European and Korean companies in the digital and healthcare industries through ‘Digital Solutions Korea 2024’ in December of last year and ‘Healthcare/Medical Device Korea 2025’ in March. The EU Business Hub plans to provide opportunities for both European and Korean companies to expand their global networks through the upcoming eight exhibition consultation meetings, including this ‘Green Low-Carbon Technology Korea 2025’.

Tanith Bello, Programme Officer at the EU Delegation to Korea, said, “Green transition and carbon neutrality are common challenges that industries around the world must tackle together, and Europe is leading technological innovation in this field.” He added, “We hope that this exhibition and consultation will provide opportunities for European and Korean companies to seek practical cooperation based on their complementary capabilities in the green technology field.”
