SAP Korea, Recruiting Participants for 'SAP Cloud Application Developer Training Course'

SAP Korea (CEO Shin Eun-young) announced that it is recruiting participants for the 'SAP Cloud Application Developer Training Course' until June 8.

The 'SAP Cloud Application Developer Training Course', now in its 4th year, is part of the 'SeSAC (Seoul Software Academy)' educational brand of the 'Youth Employment Academy' established by SAP Korea and the Seoul Economic Promotion Agency to foster software innovation talent. SeSAC is an educational program that supports the 'sprouts' to grow and ultimately debut as SAP experts in order to foster software talent.

The 'SAP Cloud Application Developer Training Course' is considered a must-have course for job seekers due to its excellent participant satisfaction and performance. The course was recognized for its excellent performance with a 100% completion rate, 94% employment rate, and 97% satisfaction, and was awarded the Seoul Mayor's Award in the Education Partner category in December 2023.

This training program is characterized by its learning on designing, building, and developing cloud-based applications to foster software talents with practical capabilities required by corporate sites. In addition, it provides education on understanding SAP cloud-based enterprise systems and program development through a customized curriculum and a faculty comprised of current consultants.

The course is well-received by students as it utilizes servers and practical environments used in actual companies. In addition, after completing the course, we plan to support employment in various SAP positions such as SAP system design and construction, developers, and module operators through employment-related programs.

This year, we have significantly strengthened the educational content to enable students to learn about key business processes such as finance, logistics, sales, and distribution, and to gain a broad understanding of the entire ERP system process. Through this, students can develop the practical skills required in an actual corporate environment in a more balanced manner.

The eligibility criteria have also been expanded. Previously, only Seoul residents could apply, but this year, residents outside of Seoul can also apply if they are currently enrolled in a university (graduate school) in Seoul, graduated from a university (graduate school) in Seoul within the past three years as of the recruitment announcement date, or have experience working at a company in Seoul. Residents outside of Seoul will be selected within 10% of the recruitment quota. This is a measure to increase educational accessibility and provide more prospective talents with the opportunity to grow into digital talents with specialized capabilities.

A student who completed this course said, “I recommend this to anyone who wants to learn both module work flow and development. The fact that you learn business processes and development together was attractive and seems to be a unique advantage of this course.”

This program will be held at the Geumcheon Campus of the Youth Employment Officers' Academy from June 23 to November 20, and the program is provided completely free of charge. The trainees will undergo a basic level test and interview to select 40 finalists. Detailed selection information and training schedule can be found on the Youth Employment Officers' Academy website.
