Birdview (Respective Representatives Woong Lee and Kyungil Kim), which operates the beauty platform Hwahae, announced on the 12th that it is changing its company name to 'Hwahae Global Inc.'
The new mission, Hwahae Global, signifies strengthening brand identity and accelerating global business expansion by integrating the company name and service name.
Hwahae is Korea's largest beauty platform with information on the ingredients of 380,000 beauty products and 9.3 million real user reviews and rating data, and is promoting K-beauty to overseas consumers through Hwahae Global Web.
Earlier, early last year, Hwahae announced its 'Hwahae 2.0' mission, which states that 'beauty consumers' smart choices create brand growth', and declared a leap forward as a K-beauty acceleration platform by rebranding and changing its brand identity (BI).
Last November, we launched a global web English version that included the core functions of Reconciliation, such as the Reconciliation Awards and rankings, and this past February, we introduced a Japanese version, creating a structure where the achievements made by brands through Reconciliation can be recognized by overseas consumers.
Hwahae plans to solidify its position as a K-beauty acceleration platform by creating successful cases of K-beauty brands continuing to grow through the launch of global influencer marketing services and expansion of B2B business in the future.
Lee Woong, CEO of Hwahae Global, said, “This change of name will be an important turning point for Hwahae to move beyond the domestic market and become a global beauty platform,” and added, “We will continue to create a growth model so that K-beauty brands can exert influence in the global market.”
Meanwhile, Hwahae passed a resolution to change its company name to Hwahae Global at the extraordinary shareholders' meeting held on the 30th of last month and recently completed the company name change process.
