Karcher participates in 'Bauma 2025'

Alfred Kärcher SE & Co. KG , a German premium cleaning equipment company celebrating its 90th anniversary, participated in 'bauma 2025' held in Munich, Germany from April 7 to April 13.

Bauma is a construction machinery industry trade fair with a total exhibition area of approximately 614,000 m2 (about 86 soccer fields), and is the third largest exhibition in Germany. Approximately 3,600 global companies from 57 countries participate to showcase the latest technologies and innovative solutions. Participating companies from Korea include HD Hyundai Construction Equipment, HD Hyundai Infracore, KOTRA, and Doosan Bobcat.

Karcher attracted a lot of attention at this exhibition by introducing various cleaning solutions optimized for construction sites, such as high-pressure washers, ultra-high-pressure devices, and wet and dry vacuum cleaners. In particular, the focus was on high-temperature water high-pressure systems, and this year, the company presented the new stationary hot water high-pressure system, the successor model to the Karcher system, focusing on high-pressure and ultra-high-pressure solutions. The stationary hot water high-pressure system, newly introduced this year, sprays up to 1,300 liters of water per hour and achieves a pressure of up to 210 bar, boasting a cleaning power that is even stronger than that of the previous model.

Cleaning solutions from Kärcher Germany and its subsidiary WOMA attracted numerous visitors and customers. “With this exhibition, we were able to offer many customers professional cleaning solutions and win a number of on-site contracts, creating exciting future potential,” said Jonas Gensler, Kärcher Exhibition Manager at the trade fair. “The demand from our customers for innovative and efficient cleaning solutions is enormous, and Kärcher has become the first choice for many of them when it comes to providing them with just such solutions.”

In addition, Korea Karcher also provides high-temperature water high-pressure washing solutions through hot and cold water high-pressure washers (HDS series). The method of spraying hot water at high pressure maximizes the contaminant removal performance and can quickly and efficiently remove various contaminants such as paint and waterproof paint, soot and dust deposits, moss, and seaweed.

Temperature is a decisive factor in the cleaning result. When the temperature rises by 10°C, the reaction speed increases approximately twice, and by 20°C it increases four times, so in fact, the higher the water temperature, the shorter the cleaning time can be by up to 35%. Karcher’s hot and cold pressure washers can increase the temperature of the sprayed water from approximately 12°C to a maximum of 155°C, which allows for excellent cleaning results while using less water and detergent.

Meanwhile, Karcher will continue to lead the way in simultaneously increasing cleanliness and efficiency in the construction industry through innovative solutions, including high-temperature water pressure systems, and a deep understanding of the market.
