KDB NextONE, Global Investment Networking in Progress

KDB NextONE incubated companies participated in the 'KDB NextRound in Silicon Valley' event hosted by the Korea Development Bank and had the opportunity to expand their global network in Silicon Valley.

The event was held in Silicon Valley, USA from Tuesday, April 22nd to Wednesday, April 23rd, and the main booth was operated at the Plug and Play Tech Center, a global startup accelerating hub.

KDB NextONE in Silicon Valley is a global investment networking event hosted by the Korea Development Bank, where KDB NextONE companies directly participate in NextRound in Silicon Valley, operate booths, and directly interact with local VCs and investors. This program was used as a place to practically verify the possibility of domestic startups advancing overseas and to experience the local market response.

A total of 5 KDB NextONE companies participated in this booth: ▲Rovers, ▲Mediwhale, ▲Asleep, ▲XL8, and ▲PIA Space, and ▲Rexolution participated in the event as an exhibitor.

In addition to the main booth, the event featured various programs such as ▲VC meetup with Jay Chung, CEO of Millennium New Horizons, ▲US startup ecosystem briefing by Cooley Law Firm, ▲networking session at Testarossa Winery, and ▲dinner networking with VC and legal experts.

The CEO of Rovers, who participated in the Silicon Valley event through the KDB NextONE program, said, “Rovers is focusing on the US market this year and is also considering attracting local investment. Through this participation in the KDB NextONE Silicon Valley event, we expect to initially build a quality network with local US VCs and related companies, and it is expected to have many positive effects on Rovers’ US commercialization this year.”
