Aurora Five, a startup that operates the global fandom gifting platform 'FUZ', announced that it has been selected for the 'CORE 2025' program hosted by Invest Seoul, the Seoul Metropolitan Government's foreign investment promotion agency.
'CORE 2025' is a program that discovers and supports promising innovative startups that Seoul City can recommend to global investors. Companies are selected through a comprehensive evaluation of global scalability, capital attraction capacity, and business viability. Aurora Five was selected in recognition of its structural differentiation in the fandom commerce sector, overseas expansion performance, and growth potential of its revenue model.
'FUZ', operated by Aurora Five, is a global fandom gifting platform that supports overseas fans to send physical gifts and messages to celebrities around the world. It provides differentiated services from existing platforms through a 'borderless gifting system' that delivers gifts without international shipping by utilizing local distribution networks, a celebrity certification-based receipt system, and an agency-linked revenue sharing structure.
Currently, we are actively pursuing localization strategies by establishing a local corporation in Japan and signing business agreements (MOUs) with Japanese and Taiwanese companies. Stable business performance has also been confirmed, such as recording an operating profit rate of 16% as of 2024. We are also diversifying our revenue structure by introducing various revenue models such as B2B advertising and premium membership.
Aurora Five CEO Park Si-ha said, “The selection as CORE 2025 is an official recognition from the Seoul Metropolitan Government of ‘FUZ’s’ global growth potential,” and added, “We plan to expand the global fandom ecosystem based on localization in major markets such as Japan, Taiwan, and Europe in the future.”
