Korea Deep Learning Co., Ltd., a company that provides integrated visual intelligence AI solutions for the public and corporate sectors, announced on the 9th that it will participate in the 'AI EXPO KOREA 2025 (International Artificial Intelligence Fair)' to be held at COEX in Seoul from May 14th to 16th.
AI EXPO KOREA, now in its 8th year, is an artificial intelligence exhibition with approximately 300 companies and organizations from 11 countries, both domestically and internationally, participating in a total of 450 booths. It is a venue to share industrial use cases and the latest trends in AI technology, and experts and stakeholders from various industries are expected to participate.
At this exhibition, Korea Deep Learning will operate a demonstration and consulting booth centered around its new solution, 'DEEP OCR+'. DEEP OCR+ is a next-generation OCR technology that automatically recognizes the meaning and structure of documents and extracts key information, overcoming the limitations of existing optical character recognition (OCR) based on the Vision-Language Model (VLM).
This solution was developed based on its own AI model that learned over 400 million document data over 5 years, and is characterized by being able to process various document types without separate data preprocessing or labeling. In particular, it can process complex documents such as unstructured documents, multilingual documents, and documents containing handwriting with high accuracy, and can shorten the overall document review time by up to 80%.
At the on-site booth, real-time demos are provided, focusing on practical use cases in real industries such as finance, law, and the public sector. For example, by uploading various documents such as loan application documents, legal contracts, and civil complaint forms, you can see how DEEP OCR+ analyzes the document structure and automatically organizes key contents.
In addition, 1:1 customized consulting will be provided within the booth for companies interested in introducing AI. Through resident AI consulting experts, companies will be able to receive guidance on solution introduction strategies and roadmaps that fit their work environment, and will also receive comprehensive consulting support from the initial review to the actual utilization stage.
Kim Ji-hyun, CEO of Korea Deep Learning, said, “DEEP OCR+ is a VLM-based solution that goes beyond conventional OCR and has document understanding capabilities. It has achieved outstanding accuracy while significantly reducing the introduction cost of hundreds of millions of won.” He added, “Through this exhibition, we will present the possibility of document automation in various industries and provide practical help in improving work efficiency through AI.”
