Content AI solution company PobyPoby announced on the 9th that it signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) with AI service specialist Eastsoft , agreeing to mutually exchange and utilize artificial intelligence technologies owned by both companies.
This agreement was made to strengthen AI-based business capabilities based on each company's core technologies and operational know-how, and to improve service quality and production efficiency.
According to the agreement, PobyPoby plans to apply its image quality improvement and capacity reduction AI solution ‘Pixell’ to ‘PERSO.ai’, a human video creation and automatic dubbing service operated by Eastsoft. Pixel is a technology that uses AI algorithms to improve image quality and reduce data capacity to optimize traffic.
Eastsoft will provide its AI human technology for the production of character content for Four by Four. The technology will also be applied to virtual human broadcast content for LoLQ, a game influencer platform operated by subsidiary SBXG. This is expected to enable the production of more realistic and immersive virtual human content.
With this agreement as an opportunity, the two companies plan to continuously explore various cooperation methods, such as joint research and development, new service planning, and mentoring for small and medium-sized AI companies in the field of content services based on AI technology.
PobyPo CEO Yoon Jun-ho said, “We expect that the synergy effects that may arise from the convergence of the two companies’ technologies will have a positive impact on the entire AI industry,” and added, “We will strengthen our cooperation so that this agreement can become an exemplary case of technological cooperation.”
