Commerce platform company Assemble Corporation announced on the 8th that it signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) with Envision Medical LLC (CEO Khan), an online and offline commerce company in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), to begin full-scale entry into the Middle Eastern market.
Through this agreement, Envision Medical will serve as Assemble Corporation’s Middle East market base, performing branch office tasks such as payment agency, fulfillment operation, and local marketing for its own marketplace, ‘Gomi Mall UAE.’ Assemble Corporation plans to maintain a close cooperative relationship with Envision Medical until it establishes a local subsidiary in the UAE.
Assemble Corporation is a company that has developed major commerce systems such as Warehouse Management System (WMS), Order Management System (OMS), Gomi Partner Center, Gomi Center, and Gomi Insight. Based on its operating experience in the Southeast Asian market, it has been preparing to enter the Middle East since 2024.
Lee Sang-gon, Co-CEO of Assemble Corporation, said, “Rather than simply relying on a cross-border approach based on Amazon or a strategy of entering large retail stores, we will simultaneously attack the B2C and B2B markets by focusing on localized marketing (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Google, etc.) utilizing our own marketplace.” He added, “This is Assemble Corporation’s own competitive differentiation strategy.”
Meanwhile, Assemble Corporation, established in 2019, recorded its first operating profit margin of 13% as of 2024, and plans to accelerate global expansion by entering undeveloped countries and new markets in 2025.
