Chungbuk Science and Technology Innovation Center (Director Koh Geun-seok) announced that it will begin recruiting '2025 Chungbuk Digital Excellence Companies' to develop Chungcheongbuk-do into an AI verification center and discover and foster promising digital companies in the region.
The 'Chungbuk Digital Excellence Company' designation project is a project to intensively foster excellent digital supply companies that can represent Chungbuk, and is a key support program to discover Chungbuk-type unicorn companies in the long term. A total of 8 companies are scheduled to be newly designated this year, and 3 startups (operating for less than 3 years) and 5 growth companies (operating for 3 years or more) will be selected.
The recruitment target is small and medium-sized enterprises in the ICT/SW field whose headquarters or business site is located in Chungcheongbuk-do. In the case of growing companies, companies that have confirmed relocation to Chungcheongbuk-do digital innovation hubs (Ochang, Osong, Cheongju, etc.) can also apply.
Selected companies will be provided with practical growth programs, including ▲customized consulting tailored to corporate needs, ▲AI/AX practical training in collaboration with domestic and international big tech companies, ▲AI verification support centered on industrial sites, and ▲opportunities for performance diffusion and investment linkage.
In 2024, five companies including Secuware, Bizforce, Sungchang Corporation, DL Information Technology, and Eniasoft were selected as excellent companies and achieved results in various fields such as AI security, industrial data analysis, and ERP advancement. In particular, some companies showed visible results such as attracting investment and establishing a foundation for global entry beyond technology verification.
This year, based on the previous year’s achievements, the effectiveness of the support program has been further strengthened. ▲A consulting menu board method has been introduced, allowing companies to select the support items they need, ▲a support roadmap for each stage of corporate growth has been segmented, and in the case of growing companies, ▲companies planning to move to innovation hubs have also been given the opportunity to apply, resulting in a highly tangible reorganization from the company’s perspective.
