Seedronics Signs MOU with Singapore Defence Science and Technology Agency

Seedronics , an AI-based autonomous navigation technology company, announced that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA) of Singapore for the joint development of unmanned surface vessels (USVs).

This agreement is part of a technical collaboration to enhance the operational safety and efficiency of USVs in complex marine environments, and includes the advancement of Seedronics’ AI-based marine situational awareness and autonomous navigation solutions. Through this agreement, the two parties plan to strengthen personnel exchange and technical cooperation and accelerate the development of USVs.

The agreement was signed at 'IMDEX Asia 2025', the largest maritime defense exhibition in Asia.

“The Singapore Navy seeks to collaborate with companies with innovative technologies to enhance our defence capabilities, and this agreement with Seedronics will enhance our future maritime security response capabilities,” said DSTA CEO Ng Chad-Son.

“This collaboration is an important step toward technological advancement of unmanned surface vehicles, and we will contribute to strengthening global maritime security through our reliable AI technology,” said Park Byeol-ter, CEO of Seedronics.
