The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Minister Yoo In-chon) and the Arts Management Support Center (CEO Kim Jang-ho) are recruiting '2025 Art Korea Lab Shared Office Short-term Tenant Companies (Teams)' until the 16th to support art companies and prospective art startup teams that seek to expand their businesses by combining art and technology.
Art Korea Lab is a comprehensive support platform for artists and art companies that was opened by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Arts Management Support Center in October 2023. It provides infrastructure such as office space, creative production and demonstration space, and operates various support projects related to this so that art companies can establish and grow stably. Among them, the short-term residency support program was created for art companies (teams) that need to expand their business through convergence with technology, and provides a 6-month residency space, production facilities, and customized growth support programs.
The recruitment target and scale are ▲4 or so one-person art x technology companies established less than 3 years ago ▲3 or so art x technology field start-up teams (2-4 people), and applicants must not be currently employed at another company. Companies (teams) wishing to move in should submit their application documents by email by 3 PM on the 16th (Friday). The selected short-term resident companies (teams) will receive support from Art Korea Lab located in Jongno-gu, Seoul, including ▲shared office space (full support of rent and management fees), ▲priority reservation of creative and production facilities, ▲use of common spaces such as conference rooms and lounges, ▲company (team) diagnosis and 1:1 customized mentoring, ▲business capacity enhancement education and business expansion programs (business matching, pitching consulting, demo days), and ▲community programs (workshops, networking).
Meanwhile, Art Korea Lab operates a 'Space Tour' program where you can tour the main spaces and equipment, such as the creative and production studio, office space, and demonstration room, every week. It is held once a day on Tuesdays and Thursdays, once in the morning and once in the afternoon, and you can participate by making a reservation in advance.
