Gyeongnam Creative Economy Innovation Center (CEO Noh Chung-sik) announced that it held an orientation for 7 teams selected for the '2025 Yangsan City Local Creator Development Project' at the Gyeongnam Eastern Region Startup Support Center (G-Space@East) on April 30.
Gyeongnam Creative Economy Innovation Center is promoting a local creator development project through a consignment agreement with Yangsan City, and is discovering and supporting promising companies with high growth potential by utilizing Yangsan City’s local resources and cultural characteristics. Following last year, the project is continuing this year as well, taking the lead in activating the local startup ecosystem.
On this day, about 20 people including dedicated mentors and Yangsan City Small Business Team members from the People's Economy Division attended the orientation and encouraged the selected business representatives. In particular, a video containing congratulatory and welcoming messages from the first local graduates of Yangsan City was shown, making it a meaningful time where the vivid experiences and advice of senior entrepreneurs greatly motivated the participants.
The final selection companies are ▲Internationalization Research Institute (CEO Oh Jun-jae), ▲Design Hall (CEO Lee Mi-rae), ▲Design a Publishing The Ham (CEO Kwon Hye-jin), ▲Maeumcha Research Institute (CEO Cho Young-joo), ▲Isensophy (CEO Kim Jeong-won), ▲Imojomo Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Ji-in), ▲Cellforsline (CEO Kim Joo-hee), a total of 7 teams, selected through a first round of document screening and a second round of presentation screening.
This project aims to support the growth of local creators who create economic and cultural value by grafting creative ideas based on local resources and unique characteristics, thereby contributing to the revitalization of the local economy. Selected companies will be provided with various growth support programs such as customized consulting, entrepreneurship education, networking, and investment attraction (IR) along with business development funds of up to 10 million won per company.
An official from the Gyeongnam Creative Economy Innovation Center said, “We will actively support local creators in Yangsan so that they can create new values based on the region’s unique resources and creativity and revitalize the local economy,” adding, “I hope that today’s event will serve as a foundation for growth for all selected companies.”
