ALDAVER, a company specializing in the development of high-fidelity medical simulators, has begun to advance into the global medical education market by participating in the EAU 2025 (European Association of Urology) held in Madrid, Spain and the AUA 2025 (American Urological Association) held in Las Vegas, USA.
At these two conferences, Aldeba showcased its next-generation educational platform based on actual clinical environments, focusing on integrated simulation solutions for urology and minimally invasive surgery education. Simulators corresponding to various procedures such as endoscopic procedures for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), flexible ureterorenoscopy (RIRS), percutaneous transurethral renal lithotripsy (PCNL/ECIRS), endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD), and laparoscopic surgery were on display. Each product is designed to be linked to ultrasound, endoscopes, electrosurgical equipment, and laser energy equipment used in actual surgeries, allowing medical staff to train in an environment similar to real-life situations.
Hospitals, medical schools, and educational institutions in Europe and North America who visited the site noted the Aldeba simulator’s high reproducibility, device compatibility, and repeated learning functions, and it has been reported that discussions on its practical introduction have begun with some institutions. In particular, the BPH, RIRS, PCNL·ECIRS simulators were evaluated as effective tools for enhancing the completeness of endoscopic-based urological surgery education through the precise implementation of complex anatomical structures and actual surgical paths.
An Aldeba official said, “EAU and AUA are the most influential global academic societies in the field of urology, and our consecutive participation in these two stages not only verified our technological prowess, but also served as an opportunity to expand our brand’s international presence.” He added, “We will continue to cooperate with medical institutions in each country to develop customized education platforms and present new standards for global medical education.”
Aldeba has successfully completed PoC (Proof of Concept) projects with many global clients, and is proving the simulator’s field applicability and educational effectiveness based on this. This is possible thanks to Aldeba’s unique material and 3D printing technology-based customization process. Since the exhibition, there has been interest and inquiries from various medical institutions and partners, and discussions on product localization and the possibility of additional customization are also gradually expanding.
Meanwhile, Aldeba is continuously expanding its portfolio of high-fidelity medical simulators beyond urology to include laparoscopy, robotic surgery, and cardiovascular fields, and will also accelerate the establishment of a strategic network for future global market expansion.
In addition, Aldeba was selected as the 3rd Daejeon branch of 'IBK Changgong', an innovative startup fostering program operated by IBK Industrial Bank of Korea.
