Generative AI startup 42Maru (CEO Dong-hwan Kim) announced on the 8th that it was finally selected for the 2025 DIPS 1000+ Project with the task of 'Global SaaS-oriented inferential AI Agent Service', and that it will advance its AI-based global SaaS platform business and begin full-scale conquest of overseas markets such as the Middle East, North America, and Central America.
This project, hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Korea Institute of Startups and Entrepreneurship Development, is a program to foster deep-tech startups that can advance into the global market based on unrivaled technological advantages and will lead the future of the national economy. It selected startups within the past 10 years that are engaged in the top 10 ultra-gap technologies (big data/AI, system semiconductors, biohealth, future mobility, eco-friendliness/energy, robots, cybersecurity/network, space/aviation/ocean, next-generation nuclear power plants, and quantum technology). It provides ultra-gap programs such as startup commercialization funds, fund linkage, technology commercialization, and open innovation. In addition, after the end of the 3-year DIPS support, the top 10% of companies will be selected and provided with follow-up support through the Beyond DIPS program.
Fortitumaru was selected for the project with 'SiteBunny+,' a 'Global SaaS-oriented inference-type AI Agent service'. It is a B2B2C-based inference-type AI Agent service that provides comprehensive and personalized answers to various stakeholders of a company, such as customers, partners, investors, institutions, job seekers, and internal employees. Its core is to automate key information search, internal/external communication, and decision-making support centered on the corporate website. Currently, SiteBunny has completed development and is conducting pre-sales domestically and internationally, and is accelerating the acquisition of practical overseas introduction cases through cooperation with the UAE Sharjah Digital Authority and global consulting firm Crowe.
SiteBunny service is being built by integrating original technologies such as RAG42 (Augmented Search Generation), MRC42 (Artificial Intelligence Machine Reading), SaaS42 (Question and Answer SaaS Platform), and ETL42 (Unstructured Document Processing) based on the self-developed large-scale language model LLM42. In particular, by introducing the recently spotlighted Reasoning LLM model, it has implemented an advanced AI Agent function that goes beyond a simple response and answers based on the context and basis of the question.
Through this project, FortiTumaru plans to pursue various detailed goals, including AI Agent advancement, launching a global SaaS-oriented service, securing and expanding overseas references, and investment and commercialization activities.
Fortitumaru is a generative AI startup that has been developing and servicing a lightweight model LLM42 specialized in specialized industries by mitigating the hallucination phenomenon, a shortcoming of ultra-large language models, through engineering with search augmentation generation technology RAG42 and AI reading technology MRC42. It supports private mode for enterprises, so you can safely utilize ultra-large AI without worrying about internal corporate data and sensitive customer information leaks, and you can drastically reduce the costs of solution construction, learning, and serving.
FortiTumaru CEO Kim Dong-hwan said, “Through this DIPS 1000+ selection, FortiTumaru’s technological prowess and global marketability have been recognized once again. As a representative generative AI technology company in Korea, we will achieve meaningful results in the global SaaS platform market.” He emphasized, “In particular, SiteBunny is an ‘inferential AI agent’ that goes beyond a simple AI chatbot to comprehensively understand and respond to a company’s business information. It will innovate digital communication methods and lead the standard for the AI era for corporate websites around the world, starting with major markets such as the UAE and North and Central America.”
