Modusign Co., Ltd. (CEO Youngjun Lee) announced on the 8th that its public institution-only SaaS solution 'Modusign Public' passed the first Public Procurement Service Excellent Product Designation Review in 2025 and was officially designated as an excellent product. With this designation, Modusign has become the first domestic cloud electronic contract service to secure all four procurement special cases: 'Preferred Purchase Product', 'Trial Purchase Product', 'Digital Service Mall Catalog Contract', and 'Excellent Product Designation'.
The Public Procurement Service’s Excellent Product System strictly evaluates products from small and medium-sized enterprises and venture companies with excellent technology and quality, grants them the status of excellent procurement items for up to three years, and provides sales support such as ▲conclusion of a negotiated contract, a third-party unit price contract, and a total contract ▲preferential purchase recommendations ▲exhibitions, catalogs, and online promotions. The excellent product designation period is three years, and can be extended for up to three additional years through an extension review.
'Modusign Public' was selected in recognition of its specialized functions for public affairs, such as ▲CSAP standard grade-based security ▲compliance with the Electronic Signature Act and Electronic Document Act ▲IP and domain access control ▲self-authentication ▲bulk transmission and link signature. It supports customized digital transformation for each institution by flexibly linking to institution system environments such as electronic approval, ERP, personnel, finance systems, and homepages through REST API.
Lee Young-jun, CEO of Modusign, said, “Modusign’s designation as an excellent public product has laid the foundation for public institutions to introduce electronic signatures and electronic contracts more quickly and safely,” and “Modusign will continue to contribute to improving the digital competitiveness of the public sector.”
Modusign has secured 320,000 corporate and institutional customers, solidifying its overwhelming No. 1 position in the electronic signature and electronic contract market. It provides cloud-type and API-type electronic signature services and has numerous public-private references, including Seoul Metropolitan Government, Gyeongsangnam-do Office of Education, Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province, Korea Credit Guarantee Fund, Korea Real Estate Board, Samsung Electronics, and SK Chemicals.
