Capenstreet attracts Bridge Investment

Copenstreet , which operates the asset platform 'ACON' and the editing tool 'ABLUR' that most effectively assist digital creation, has attracted Series A2 (bridge) investment from TS Investment and Z Venture Capital (ZVC). With this investment, Copenstreet plans to further enhance its services and accelerate its entry into the global creator market.

CarpenStreet operates a platform called 'Acorn' where digital assets and SW licenses used in the production of various content such as webtoons, videos, games, and VR can be traded, and it also provides 'Abler', an editing tool exclusively for creators that allows them to utilize the assets more easily and conveniently.

Currently, Coffin Street has established itself as a global platform actively used by creators in 140 countries, and is further solidifying its position within the global creator ecosystem based on its unique expertise in the field of visual creation.

“This investment is not just about securing funds; it’s a strategic move to expand into the global creative ecosystem,” said Lee Min-hong, the company’s CEO. “We will create an environment where anyone can comfortably focus on creating, allowing countless stories to flow further and longer.”

Regarding the background of this investment, TS Investment Team Leader Song Ha-yeon said, “Acorn and Abler are products that started from the real needs of creators and are raising both productivity and quality in the content industry.” She added, “They have a solid position in Korea, and we expect even more growth in the global market based on the team and execution capabilities that Copen Street has built in the future.”

ZVC Senior Vice President Seo Ji-min explained, “Copycat Street is creating structural innovation in the webtoon and digital content markets based on its technological prowess and creator-friendly service planning.” He continued, “In particular, its growth potential in Japan, a leading country in comics and a rapidly growing digital comics (webtoon) market, is also very large, and we anticipate its growth into a next-generation company that will connect the global creative ecosystem.”

With this investment, CopenStreet plans to strengthen its connection with the global content creator ecosystem, focusing on the Japanese market, and focus on ABLUR’s technological advancement and linkage with ACON.
