4910 (Saguilgong), a men's fashion platform operated by Style Commerce Ablely (CEO Kang Seok-hoon), announced on the 2nd that the number of 2030 users has increased by more than 8 times. It has established itself as a 'hub' that connects various fashion products and MZ generation men according to their tastes.
'4910' is a men's fashion platform that went through beta service in June 2023 and was officially launched in March 2024. By applying Ablely's 'AI personalized recommendation technology', it has begun the era of taste-based men's fashion shopping. The service name contains the meaning of 'reflecting a wide range of men's fashion tastes from ages 10 to 49' and 'a platform where you want to buy (4910)' various products at reasonable prices. According to 'Mobile Index', among the applications with more than 1 million annual new installations in 2024, it ranked first in the app with the largest growth in the number of monthly active users (MAU) compared to the previous year, solidifying its position as the second largest men's fashion app.
According to app and retail analysis service WiseApp·Retail·Goods, the number of 2030 users in March 4910 increased by about 8.5 times (759%) compared to the same period last year. Among all users, those in their 20s accounted for the highest proportion, followed by those in their 10s and 30s. The number of new installers of the 4910 app in the first quarter (January to March) ranked first among all men's fashion platforms, and in March, when spring shopping demand began to increase, the number of new installers significantly increased by more than 7.6 times (667%) compared to the same period last year.
In March, 2030 customer transactions increased by more than five times (410%) compared to the same period last year, and the number of 2030 orders (477%) and buyers (374%) also recorded triple-digit growth. During the same period, clothing and miscellaneous goods suitable for wearing in spring, such as sneakers and short-sleeved T-shirts, were popular. The transaction amount of short-sleeved T-shirts in 4910 increased by more than six times (512%), and the transaction amount of short-sleeved T-shirts from 'Island Modern' grew significantly by more than 300 times (30,370%). The overall transaction amount of sneakers increased by more than 5.3 times (439%), and 'Adidas' sneaker products in particular recorded a transaction amount growth of more than 15 times (1,452%). The transaction amount for 'long pants' also grew by more than four times (321%), and the transaction amount for 'Oreslow' long pants products increased by a significant amount, nearly nine times (780%).
4910 analyzed that the driving force behind its success was its differentiated shopping experience provided through its self-developed 'AI personalized recommendation technology'. Recently, as men's fashion tastes have become more segmented, such as 'golfcore (outdoor everyday wear)', 'grunge look (vintage style with a worn feel)', and 'Amekaji (Japanese American casual)', the demand for personalized shopping, especially among men, is increasing. Amidst this, it seems that the fact that Ablely introduced its self-developed 'AI personalized recommendation technology' at the same time as the app launch, allowing anyone to easily receive recommendations and purchase products that suit their tastes, caught the attention of customers. The fact that it set up separate specialty sections optimized for customer interests and shopping patterns, such as 'soccer', 'running', 'fitness', and 'big size', also increased shopping convenience was effective.
