
ZEP, a metaverse-based edutech platform, announced on the 2nd that it signed a business agreement (MOU) for mutual cooperation with Gwangju National University of Education .
This agreement aims to promote and operate future education innovation projects through the use of edutech. The agreement signing ceremony was held on the 29th at the Future Education Innovation Center of Gwangju National University of Education, with the attendance of CEO Kim Sang-yeop and President Heo Seung-jun of Gwangju National University of Education.
The two sides will focus on ▲supporting services for education and learning, such as non-face-to-face education, participatory learning, and remote education ▲quantitative and qualitative analysis and research and development on the effectiveness of education using Zep ▲training and support for metaverse capacity building programs as key cooperation tasks. They plan to prove the utilization and effectiveness of edtech platforms through learner-centered projects and build an education ecosystem based on this.
CEO Kim Sang-yeop of Jepp said, “We will not spare technical support and know-how to strengthen the digital education capabilities of faculty and students at Gwangju National University of Education,” and “We will enhance Jepp’s usability in actual educational settings and strengthen its competitiveness as a digital education platform.”
Gwangju National University of Education President Heo Seung-jun said, “Through this agreement, I hope that the two institutions will go beyond a simple agreement and continue a practical and sustainable cooperative relationship, such as building future classrooms and strengthening AIDT linkage capabilities,” and added, “We will continue to create a cooperative model in which various edutech companies and educational sites work closely together, help each other, and grow together.”
