Senior care specialist company Caring (CEO Taeseong Kim) announced that it will designate the period from April 30 to May 9 as the 'Senior Spring Happiness Week' to coincide with Family Month in May and will be holding a spring outing campaign to add vitality to the daily lives of seniors.

The Senior Citizens' Spring Happiness Week was designed to help seniors with limited mobility and limited outdoor activities regain their daily vitality through outdoor activities and feel emotional stability in nature. Experiential activities will be held at each branch of 27 Caring Weekly Care Centers across the country.

Caring will provide bus charter, shuttle vehicle use, and safety vests to ensure that the elderly can safely enjoy their spring outings, and social workers, nursing assistants, and other professional caregivers will accompany the elderly to closely monitor them.

Also, on Parents' Day, May 8, each center will hold a Family Month event where they will deliver carnations, read letters from guardians, and give gifts. If guardians wish, they can tour the facilities where the elderly live and observe activity programs.

Kim Tae-seong, CEO of Caring, said, “We expect that the emotional satisfaction of seniors who have had limited opportunities to engage in outdoor activities due to safety reasons will increase just by spending enjoyable time in nature on a warm spring day,” adding, “We will continue to spare no support at the headquarters level to support the active daily lives of seniors.”

Meanwhile, Caring is building an integrated care infrastructure centered on day care centers nationwide so that various care services such as home care, day care, and short-term care can be used at a single long-term care facility. Recently, based on senior care know-how, it has introduced 'Caring Stay', an urban paid nursing facility, and 'Caring Village', a medical-specialized premium nursing home.
