Gangwon Creative Economy Innovation Center (CEO Lee Hae-jeong, hereinafter referred to as Gangwon Innovation Center) announced that it held an orientation for the main organization of the Strong Small Business Growth Support Project at the Yuseong Convention Wedding Hall in Daejeon on the 28th.

The Strong Small Business Growth Support Project is a project promoted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups to foster entrepreneurial small business owners. The Small Business Market Promotion Agency is in charge of the project, and the Gangwon Creative Economy Innovation Center is the main organization in the online seller sector, and is collaborating with Naver, Kakao, and Amazon to foster small business owners.

This orientation, held for the 250 people selected in the first round, started with ▲ an introduction to the specialized program for the Strong Small Business Growth Support Project, ▲ an explanation session on the '2025 Innovative Small Business Investment Linkage Support Project (LIPSⅡ Project)' by Team Leader Hwang Hui-woong of the Early Investment Accelerator Association, ▲ a lecture on 'Branding and Marketing Strategies for Small Brands' by CEO Kim Si-nae of Small Brander, ▲ a lecture on 'Successful Business Strategy and Business Model Establishment Plan' by CEO Lee Soon-yeol of Korea Social Investment, ▲ a networking program called 'Me x Brand x Networking Journey' hosted by CEO Yoon Han of Soyanghada.

The small business owners who attended the orientation will prepare for the second evaluation in June through specialized training from Naver, Kakao, and Amazon. The 60 small business owners who are finally selected through the second evaluation will receive up to 50 million won in business development funding.

Gangwon Innovation Center CEO Lee Hae-jeong said, “For small business owners, online sales play an important role in the growth of strong small business owners, beyond securing sales channels, such as ‘communication with customers’ and ‘securing brand awareness.’” He added, “Gangwon Creative Economy Innovation Center will continue to support these strong small business owners so that they can play a pivotal role in revitalizing the local economy and build a virtuous startup ecosystem.”
