JB Ventures announced that it will hold the '13th Chungnam Venture Investment Forum' at Chungnam Startup Marunavi on Monday, May 13th at 4 PM.
The Chungnam Venture Investment Forum is a regular event held on the third Tuesday of every month to promote the startup and venture investment ecosystem in the Chungnam region, and is co-hosted by local accelerators and related organizations. The 13th forum is hosted by JB Ventures and will be held under the theme of ‘Global Business.’
In the first lecture session, CEO Jinyoung Kim of The Invention Lab will participate as a speaker and give a lecture focusing on ‘Successful Cases of Korean Startups Entering the Global Market.’ It is expected to provide practical insights to local startups preparing to enter the global market.
In the second startup IR pitching session, four startups from various fields will participate. The participating companies are ▲Seoul Beauty Global (K-beauty specialized reservation platform) ▲Sloker (natural handmade soju brand 'Hansoju') ▲Cowork Withers (foreigner recruitment platform 'KOWORK') ▲Climus (global art commerce platform 'CHOPSTICKS'). Each company will introduce its business model and global expansion strategy and have a networking opportunity with investors.
A JB Ventures official said, “We hope that this forum will be of practical help in attracting investment and expanding the market for promising startups in the Chungnam region,” and added, “We plan to continue various support activities so that regional innovative companies can grow beyond the domestic market and into the global market.”
