
The Ministry of SMEs and Startups (Minister Oh Young-joo, hereinafter referred to as the Ministry of SMEs and Startups) announced that it will be recruiting SMEs to participate in the '25-year Startup Growth Technology Development Project-Leap R&D' from April 30 to May 30.
This leap R&D project supports 'leap R&D' to strengthen sustainability and market competitiveness based on the initial performance of startups. Small and medium-sized enterprises with less than 7 years of business experience (less than 10 years in a new industry) and sales of less than 2 billion won as of the closing date for application (May 30, 2025) can participate.
This business announcement is recruiting small and medium-sized enterprises to participate in startup growth-leap R&D, and the main contents are as follows.
- Starting this year, in order to strengthen the performance creation of startups, support will be expanded to a maximum of 200 million won per project for 1.5 years.
- In addition to providing follow-up R&D support for companies discovered through the Super Gap Startup 1000+ Project, a startup commercialization program of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, and the public-private cooperative open innovation platform, we have additionally established a ‘Ministry Linkage’ track to provide follow-up R&D support for technologies discovered through the ‘Innopolis Campus Project’ in collaboration with the Research and Development Special Zone Foundation of the Ministry of Science and ICT.
- In addition, we plan to continue supporting various detailed tracks such as global R&D, materials/components/equipment fields, and R&D to promote women’s participation, following last year.
