Buying Square, K-fashion brand 'ORR' opens Japanese pop-up store… Collaboration with Japanese authentic high-end boutique RESTIR

Global brand wholesale platform company 'Buying Square' (CEO Choi Jeong-hyun) announced on the 29th that it will collaborate with Japanese authentic high-end boutique 'RESTIR' to open the first solo pop-up store of K-fashion brand 'ORR' in Japan. The ORR solo pop-up store will be held from Saturday, April 26 to Monday, May 5 during Japan's Golden Week.

This ORR Japan-only pop-up store is a collaboration between Buying Square, which acts as a bridge for K-fashion brands to enter the overseas market, and RESTIR, a leading high-end boutique in Japan. Buying Square supports the B2B overseas expansion of many promising K-fashion brands through ‘Catalog Shop,’ Korea’s first global brand wholesale management platform. By utilizing the network of approximately 170 overseas suppliers established through wholesale distribution of 3,300 global brands over the past five years, it supports the smooth development of overseas sales channels for K-fashion brands.

In particular, ORR is promoting this Japanese project based on a strategic distribution partnership with Buying Square, and is also exploring a project to enter the Chinese market. ORR is greatly loved by global women in their 20s and 30s for its delicate details, sensitive tailoring, and designs that freely cross the boundaries between femininity and masculinity.

In this pop-up store, ORR will showcase a variety of popular items from the 2025SS collection, including ready-to-wear, handbags, and shoes, and will adopt a dual channel strategy that simultaneously secures B2B and retail sales channels. Following the pop-up stores held in department stores in Tokyo and Osaka last year and this year, the company plans to open an exclusive pop-up store at RESTIR in Tokyo to further increase brand awareness among Japanese consumers.

Buying Square provides a QR code that links to the ORR brand hall in the catalog shop for Japanese buyers visiting the pop-up store, allowing buyers to easily purchase ORR products showcased at RESTIR in a pre-order format. The brand hall in the catalog shop contains an introduction to the brand, the latest articles, lookbooks/campaigns, videos, and recommended products, allowing Japanese buyers who are unfamiliar with K-fashion brands to easily check brand information and make purchasing decisions. In addition, the catalog shop supports global languages and payments in various currencies.

“We have been discovering popular K-brands such as EENK and Born2Standout and introducing them to the Japanese market as Japanese consumers are very interested in K-fashion and K-beauty,” said Maiko SHIBATA, Creative Director of RESTIR. “We felt that interest in ORR was gradually increasing among Japanese consumers, which led us to decide to hold ORR’s first solo pop-up store in Japan at RESTIR. This will be an opportunity to make the ORR brand widely known to local buyers who collaborate with us and general consumers.”

Buying Square CEO Jeong-Hyeon Choi said, “ORR is a brand with great global competitiveness that has gained great popularity among global fashion enthusiasts with its own brand power alone.” He added, “Buying Square will spare no effort in providing full support, utilizing its network and resources, to help domestic fashion brands with high potential make their names known on the global stage and secure stable sales channels.”
