It has been continuously conducting data analysis, policy suggestions, research, and education projects targeting digital merchants.

Digital merchants (D-SME, Digital-Small and Medium Enterprise) are online sellers who run their businesses based on digital platforms, and they account for one quarter of all small business owners. They are emerging as a key axis of the economy amid the acceleration of digital transformation.

Selfish Club is a team that applies AI to marketing and business, and produces all content for customer contact points, from AI promotional videos to websites. Selfish Club has an AI expert team and plans to enter the global market in the future.

Kim Do-hyun, director of the Platform SME Research Center, said, “Generative AI is a key tool in the digital economy, and we will enhance the capabilities of digital merchants through practical education and mentoring.” He added, “We will continue to work with Selfish Club to make digital transformation a survival strategy.”

Meanwhile, the research center and Selfish Club conducted two rounds of AI practical training for digital merchants. They conducted training specialized for online businesses, such as marketing automation and content production using ChatGPT, Midjourney, and SORA. Starting next month, they plan to provide customized consulting through ‘Monthly AI Mentoring.’
