
Celta Square (CEO Shin Min-kyung) announced on the 29th that it has hired Kim Sang-hyo, a former Samsung Electronics development expert and startup CTO, as the new head of the PVaaS headquarters, which oversees planning, development, and quality of platform development.
Kim Sang-hyo, the head of the headquarters, is from Samsung SW Membership, which is considered the top IT expert group in Korea. He has played a key role in the entire process of developing software finished products while working in Samsung Electronics’ wireless business for 11 years. In particular, during the golden age when Samsung Electronics surpassed Apple to become number one in the global market, he experienced the entire process including the system and performance of flagship smartphones such as the Galaxy and Note series, and contributed to driving technological competitiveness.
After working as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at a startup for many years, Director Kim Sang-hyo led the overall establishment of technology strategies and operation of the development organization. He is a development expert who has proven his technological competitiveness based on his extensive experience spanning large corporations and startups.
Through this personnel change, Celta Square plans to further strengthen its commercialization and R&D capabilities for entering the global market by promoting the design advancement and quality improvement of the AI-based full-cycle PVaaS (Pharmacovigilance as a Service) platform scheduled for launch this year, systematizing the development organization, and innovating the process.
Kim Sang-hyo, CEO, stated his ambition to “build a trustworthy platform in the global pharmacovigilance (PV) field by advancing development capabilities company-wide and to lead innovation across the industry through AI-based technologies.”
