
Edtech company Flexcil announced on the 29th that it has signed a content supply contract with English education company Siwon School and learning-specialized e-book platform 'SCONN'. Through this contract, Flexcil plans to strengthen its digital language content lineup and expand its position in the foreign language learning market.
Scone is an e-book-based learning platform that provides functions necessary for self-directed learning, such as ▲single-volume function ▲automatic generation of error notes ▲linking of lecture videos and audio sources ▲connection of external links. It is also explained that it has user convenience and content protection functions by applying Flexcil's global user base, note-taking technology, and security system.
Flexcil is currently expanding its learning content by collaborating with Park Young-sa, Eduwill, YBM, Megastudy Books, Emergency Education, Ice Cream Edu, etc. Through Scone's e-book store 'Scone Book Cafe', it is expanding its platform area by providing various digital textbooks for elementary school through high school and college entrance exam takers.
Through this contract, Siwon School intends to fully launch a strategic partnership with Scone and strengthen its position as a language brand specializing in digital transformation. The two companies previously began their collaboration by launching the digital English learning magazine 'Reuters Newsletter'.
Through the collaboration between the two companies, Scone users will be able to use Siwon School’s language content within the platform, and Scone plans to expand its services in the future to focus on various foreign language content such as English, Chinese, and Japanese. In addition, it is seeking to transform into a life-cycle learning platform by providing customized solutions based on learning purposes and achievements.
Flexcil CEO Kwon Jeong-gu said, “The agreement with Siwon School will be an opportunity for Scone to strengthen its language content competitiveness,” and added, “We will continue to expand the scope of our services through collaboration with various educational companies.”
Siwon School CEO Yang Hong-geol said, “This contract is the starting point of strategic cooperation to create a technology-based digital learning environment,” and added, “Through cooperation with Scone, we will accelerate digital transformation and further solidify our leading position in the language education market.”
