AI for Pet, a company specializing in pet AI solutions, announced on the 26th that it won the Silver Award in the Insurtech category at the '2025 Qorus Innovation in Insurance Awards', a global insurance and fintech awards ceremony.
This awards ceremony is a place to select companies that are leading innovation in the global insurance industry, and about 200 insurance companies and insurtech companies from around the world participated. Among Korean companies, AI Poppet and Kakao Pay were included in the award list, and AI Poppet received the Silver Award, which is a higher level than Kakao Pay.
AI-PoPet analyzes the health status of companion animals through image and video data based on artificial intelligence technology, and provides functions for early detection of disease signs. This technology is being developed in conjunction with insurance companies to focus on prevention-oriented pet insurance products, and this ‘AI-based pet insurance linkage model’ has been highly evaluated and is the background for this award.
The Qorus Innovation in Insurance Awards is jointly hosted by Qorus, a global financial innovation network, and consulting firm Accenture, and annually recognizes and awards insurance-related companies that are leading digital transformation and customer-centric innovation.
AIPOPET CEO Eun-ah Heo said, “This award is recognition of our technological prowess and business model competitiveness in the global insurance industry,” and added, “We plan to expand cooperation with domestic and foreign insurance companies in the future and fully advance into the global pet insurance market.”
