Nucode X Big Mobility X Jetik AI, Radio Promotion Association 2025 Unlicensed Frequency Utilization Promising Technology Demonstration Project Jointly Conducted

Nucode , a wireless communication module specialist, announced on the 28th that it was finally selected as a participating company along with Jetik AI for the '2025 Unlicensed Frequency Utilization Promising Technology Demonstration Project' hosted by the Radio Promotion Association (RAPA) under the Ministry of Science and ICT and organized by Big Mobility.

This project is being promoted to discover and support cutting-edge technologies and services utilizing unlicensed frequencies and to promote the development of information and communication technology and innovative growth in local communities.

Big Mobility, the organizer, is a mobility technology company that operates 34 truck-only parking lots across the country, totaling approximately 25,000 pyeong, and is expanding truck parking infrastructure by utilizing idle space in cities.

Nucode, a participating company, is a domestic IoT module manufacturer that is collaborating with global semiconductor companies such as Nordic Semiconductor and Infineon, and possesses low-power wireless communication technology and application device development capabilities. Recently, it is expanding its smart device communication technology area by collaborating with robotics company Luxrobo.

Another participating company, JetiAI, is an on-device AI technology startup that is developing its own framework to maximize the performance of AI hardware in mobile devices.

Through this demonstration project, the three companies will jointly develop and demonstrate a low-power parking control system utilizing IoT and on-device AI technology in an open-air parking lot environment where power supply is difficult. The system will include vehicle accident monitoring and parking information confirmation functions, and will be implemented as an eco-friendly solution linked to energy harvesting technology.

Nucode CEO Lee Gwan-hyung said, “Participating in this demonstration project is an important opportunity to apply our wireless communication module and on-device AI technology to the field,” adding, “We will advance our environmental friendliness and low-power technology to the global level and lay the foundation for commercialization.”
