Haejum, Participation in '2025 Automotive Parts Industry ESG·Carbon Neutral Expo'

Energy IT company Haezoom (CEO Kwon Oh-hyun) announced on the 28th that it successfully concluded the exhibition by presenting on-site PPA and Haezoom R at the '2025 Automotive Parts Industry ESG·Carbon Neutral Expo' held at the Yangjae aT Center in Seoul from the 23rd to the 25th.

This exhibition was jointly hosted by Hyundai Motor Company, Kia Motors, and KAP (Korea Automotive Parts Industry Promotion Foundation) and was designed as a venue for cooperation to realize sustainable management in the automotive parts industry. Approximately 100 companies and organizations, including partners, energy specialists, and policy organizations, participated in the exhibition, showcasing ESG management best practices and various facilities, technologies, and services for achieving carbon neutrality.

At this exhibition, Haejum showcased energy solutions and IT technologies for corporate RE100 achievement and ESG management practices, focusing on ▲Onsite PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) ▲HaejumR, an integrated power management system. The exhibition site was visited by people in the auto parts industry who wished to introduce onsite PPA and HaejumR, and active consultations were held on ESG implementation plans.

Onsite PPA is a type of direct PPA, where companies install solar power generation facilities on their own idle land, such as factory roofs or parking lots, and directly use the electricity generated. Companies can purchase and use renewable energy at a unit price that is about 24-32% lower than existing electricity rates without having to pay for power plant installation or maintenance costs.

For example, if a 1MW solar power plant is installed in a 3,000-pyeong factory, it can be expected to save about 28 million won in electricity bills and reduce greenhouse gases by 604 tons per year.

'HaejumR', which is provided together with the direct PPA introduction, also received a lot of attention from the visitors. HaejumR provides ▲power consumption status ▲real-time power generation ▲RE100 performance analysis, etc., and through this, companies can intuitively understand the status of energy usage and improve the convenience of ESG management and energy usage efficiency.

“As the importance of ESG management has grown recently, we realized through this exhibition that the number of companies considering introducing renewable energy is rapidly increasing,” said Baek Jin-geun, head of Haejum Energy New Business Division. “Haejum will continue to actively support companies to provide practical help in practicing ESG through customized solar power solutions.”

Meanwhile, Haejum has carried out more than 700 cases of direct PPA and RE100 consulting through collaboration with various companies, and has accumulated industry-leading operational experience with a track record of 20MW of onsite PPA contracts.

Additional inquiries regarding Haejum’s onsite PPA and Haejum R can be made through the website or by calling the main number (02-889-9941).
