DLG Law Firm (Representative Attorneys Wonhee Cho and Heechul Ahn) has officially joined the global legal network ‘Globalaw’ and has begun its activities in earnest.
DLG announced on the 28th that as its first official activity, it attended the '2025 Global Asia-Pacific Regional Meeting (GLAPRM)' held at the Rihga Royal Hotel in Osaka, Japan from April 23rd to 26th and made a major announcement.
This conference was attended by 15 law firms from major countries in Asia and Oceania and 8 law firms from North America and Europe, including the US, Canada, the UK, the Netherlands, Poland, and Slovakia, laying the foundation for expanding global cooperation and partnerships. At this event, Managing Attorney Hee-chul Ahn and Foreign Attorney Kang-seong Kang gave presentations on ▲Korean startup and M&A investment trends and ▲Personal Information Protection Act issues, respectively, and shared insights with major legal experts in the Asia-Pacific region.
Globally, it is a non-profit international legal network established in 1994, with mid-sized law firms in over 85 countries as members. All members are selected through a rigorous screening process, and in most countries, it operates as an exclusive network where only one law firm is granted membership.
DLG’s membership in Global is a result of recognition of its international legal service capabilities as a representative Korean law firm. In the future, it will be able to provide a foundation for more integrated and strategic legal solutions by cooperating with law firms in each country through the Global network. In particular, its strength lies in its ability to provide high-quality legal services based on trust even in countries where it is difficult for large global law firms to advance into.
Ahn Hee-chul, managing attorney at DLG Law Firm, said, “Through Global Law, we have established a network foundation that can more strategically support the overseas expansion and entry of domestic and foreign companies,” and Kang Han-seong, foreign attorney at DLG Law Firm, said, “At this meeting, we directly shared global legal trends and gained insights to provide higher value to our clients.”
Starting with this Osaka conference, DLG has begun its global activities in earnest and plans to continue providing a wider spectrum of global legal solutions to domestic and international clients.
