
Edtech company Logibrothers announced on the 25th that it signed a business agreement (MOU) for mutual cooperation with the Korea National University of Education's Korea AI Convergence Education Research Institute.
This agreement was promoted for the purpose of joint research on educational technology required in the era of digital transformation and artificial intelligence, and verification and development of educational content. The agreement ceremony was held on the 24th at the AI Convergence Education Research Institute of Korea National University of Education, and was attended by representatives from both organizations.
According to the agreement, the two parties plan to continue their cooperation by starting with empirical research on the educational effectiveness of Logibrothers' SW·AI education solution, 'Codemos', and jointly developing learning content in the field of digital education, such as artificial intelligence and computer science, and applying and verifying it in the field.
'Codemos' is an edutech platform that provides over 1,900 programming and digital education contents. With its storytelling-based learning design and learner-friendly structure, it has been used by over 2.5 million students to develop digital literacy and programming capabilities.
In particular, the platform is based on content that complies with the 2022 revised curriculum and the standards of the US Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA), and provides a customized learning experience for both teachers and students through an AI-based learning recommendation and evaluation system. Currently, Codemos is being introduced and utilized in approximately 250 schools nationwide.
Logibrothers CEO Noh Sang-min said, “Through this agreement, we hope to contribute to fostering talents with the problem-solving skills and artificial intelligence utilization capabilities needed in future society,” and added, “We will continue to develop advanced educational content and teaching methods.”
Kim Gwi-hoon, director of the Korea AI Convergence Education Research Institute, also said, “Through cooperation with Logi Brothers, we will be able to develop various educational technologies that can be used in artificial intelligence and computational thinking education,” adding, “Based on the cooperation between the two organizations, we plan to work hard to secure future educational technologies and foster specialized personnel.”
