The Sirip Dongjak Youth Sexual Culture Center and the sexual awareness improvement brand Bareunsaenggak (Convenience Co., Ltd.) announced on April 24 that they signed a business agreement (MOU) to establish healthy sexual values for youth and improve sexual culture.
This agreement is the first official step for Barunsaenggak to expand its experience in the field of sexual wellness to the area of youth sex education. The two organizations plan to increase the practical educational effect by developing real-life-based educational content tailored to the eye level of youth.
Adolescence is an important period in which sexual awareness is formed, and appropriate and timely sex education is considered a key factor in improving sexual sensitivity and helping healthy sexual development. Accordingly, this agreement is significant in that it lays the foundation for forming a youth-led sexual culture.
Barunsaenggak has been continuously producing content related to sex education through the YouTube channel 'Alsungdalsung' (approximately 270,000 subscribers), the book 'Alsungdalsung Our Children's Sex Education', and the online class 'Barunsaenggak Sex Education Class'. This content production experience is evaluated as a factor that increases the possibility of practical application in the educational field.
Based on the agreement, the two organizations plan to promote cooperative projects such as ▲joint planning of activity-based sex education content tailored to the eye level of youth (reflecting peer culture and digital environment), ▲development of activity-based teaching aids such as emotion cards and role-playing, and application in education, ▲on-site operation of education programs and improvement through feedback, ▲development of campaigns to improve awareness of sexual culture, and community activities, etc.
A Bareunsaenggak official said, “Based on our experience in delivering products and content for a healthy sexual culture, we want to contribute to the formation of correct sexual values starting from adolescence.”
An official from the Sirip Dongjak Youth Sexual Culture Center said, “Sexual education for youth must reflect changes in the times and cultural diversity, and it is necessary to increase the effectiveness of education through collaboration with private partners,” adding, “We expect this agreement to contribute to creating a new sex education environment and improving sexual culture.”
