Onaepeople, a company specializing in personal information protection, and Disilo, a company operating a homomorphic encryption platform, signed an MOU on the 24th to strengthen personal information protection and integrate security technologies.
This agreement aims to develop joint business, link technology, and expand the market based on Onaepeople’s CatchSecure and Disilo’s DESILO Clean Room service. In addition, the two companies plan to continue technical cooperation and mutual consultation to respond to changes in laws related to personal information protection.
CatchSecure, Onaepeople’s personal information compliance solution, helps you automatically comply with regulations throughout the entire personal information lifecycle. It provides functions such as creating a legally customized consent form when collecting personal information, storing it through encryption and masking, and automatically destroying personal information. In addition, it provides security functions such as personal information monitoring, access IP restrictions, and access authority management.
Disilo provides solutions based on privacy-enhancing technologies (PET) including homomorphic encryption (FHE), which safely protects data while allowing smooth utilization of data through various statistical analyses and machine learning (ML) operations. In the process, it supports compliance with not only the domestic Data 3 Act but also international personal information protection regulations such as GDPR and HIPAA.
Cho Ah-young, CEO of Ohnaepeople, said, “Through this agreement, we will provide an analysis environment that can derive data-based insights while strengthening personal information protection by combining personal information lifecycle management and homomorphic encryption technology,” adding, “This will be a new answer for companies that are concerned about the balance between personal information protection and utilization.”
Meanwhile, Desilo's Vice President Park Jun-hong emphasized, "Based on the innovative new technologies and services of both companies, we will provide a solution that kills two birds with one stone: safe protection of personal information and innovative utilization through data analysis."
