
Farmstaff Co., Ltd. , an agricultural smart solution company, signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Sichuan Zhongnong Yixiang, a leading Chinese urban agriculture company, on the 'Establishment of a Smart Plant Factory Intelligent Equipment Manufacturing Base' at the '2025 Chengdu (Seoul) Investment Cooperation Briefing Session' held at the JW Marriott Hotel in Seoul.
This briefing session was hosted by the Chengdu Municipal People's Government and was held to expand industrial cooperation and investment between Korea and China. Representatives from various related organizations and companies in fields such as culture, tourism, agriculture, and high-tech attended.
At the last session of the event, the Project Agreement Signing Session, Palmstaff officially announced the agreement with Zhongnong Yixiang and revealed plans to establish a manufacturing base in China and initiate technical cooperation based on Korea’s smart farm technology.
Through this agreement, the two companies will pursue a practical and feasible cooperation model, including ▲joint development of smart cultivation equipment and media for plant factories, ▲establishment of local verification and mass production systems, and ▲establishment of a joint branding strategy in the Chinese market.
Farmstaff CEO Kim Jeong-woo said, “This MOU is the first gateway for Farmstaff’s indoor smart farm technology to connect with the Chinese market, and a practical foundation for creating an agricultural innovation ecosystem between Korea and China.” He added, “I hope that we can open up the future of Asian agriculture together by leveraging each other’s strengths.”
