HiCareNet Signs Chain Contracts with 5 Medical Institutions in Northern California

Digital healthcare specialist HiCareNet announced on the 24th that it has expanded its business to the Northern California region of the United States and signed contracts with five non-Korean medical institutions in succession.

With its experience working with 40 local medical institutions in Southern California, HiCareNet is further strengthening its position in the US healthcare market through this contract. This contract will provide remote patient monitoring (RPM) and chronic disease management (CCM) services, and will be an important opportunity to fully introduce HiCareNet’s digital healthcare technology to mainstream US medical institutions.

The hospitals that signed the contract are non-Korean medical institutions located near Silicon Valley that primarily treat high-income local Americans as their patients, and this is evaluated as an example showing that HiCareNet's technological prowess and operational capabilities are trusted even in the local area.

HiCareNet’s AI-based integrated platform collects and analyzes patients’ biometric data in real time to detect abnormal signs early and support medical staff to intervene quickly. This allows patients to receive continuous health care services, and medical institutions can build a more proactive and effective patient management system based on actual patient data.

In addition, HiCareNet's solution is optimized for value-based care, a key change in the U.S. healthcare system, providing advantages in many aspects, including prediction-centered patient management, clinical performance-based compensation system, patient attrition prevention, and medical cost reduction.

In terms of security and regulation, HiCareNet has completed ISO/IEC 27001 certification and external verification in accordance with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) standards, meeting the highest level of security standards required by U.S. medical institutions.

Based on its healthcare technology and IT infrastructure that it has accumulated over a long period of time, HiCareNet is continuously expanding its digital healthcare and RPM/CCM business. Through this, it is establishing a unique position by providing service operations for actual patients, beyond simply providing solutions. In addition, it plans to further expand its influence in the North American market based on its solid medical network and operational expertise in the United States.

“Contracts with U.S. medical institutions are rapidly expanding, and the number of patients actually managed is also increasing rapidly,” said Kim Hong-jin, CEO of HiCareNet. “Although there are approximately 68 million RPM eligible patients in the U.S. based on Medicare, the number of actual users is still only around 600,000. Since more than 98% of the market is untapped, HiCareNet will rapidly expand the market.”
