CNT Tech, Final Selection of Supported Companies for '2025 Sports Industry Startup Leap Center'

CNT Tech announced on the 23rd that it has finally selected 13 sports startups to support through the '2025 Sports Industry Startup Leap Center' program.

This program is hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and managed by the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation, with CNT Tech participating as the operating agency for four consecutive years starting in 2022. The goal is to support market entry and growth for early-stage and emerging sports industry startups.

CNT Tech plans to make a total of 500 million won in direct investments in excellent companies selected this year, and will also provide opportunities to connect with government R&D support projects such as the TIPS program. In addition, the selected companies will receive practical growth support such as education to strengthen business capabilities, customized mentoring, investment attraction consulting, networking with large companies and investors, and opportunities to participate in Demo Day.

The 13 companies that were finally selected are as follows: ▲Ludimentary (functional running brand and platform) ▲Mangrove Solutions (smart exercise equipment development) ▲Mint Members (SaaS for the sports/fashion industry) ▲Bark (smart footwear-based healthcare solution) ▲Ad (interactive advertising for sports marketing) ▲Ascent Sports (sports energy supplement) ▲OneAT (development of biodegradable eco-friendly sports apparel fabric) ▲UniUni (sports facility space management solution) ▲EX Healthcare (bio-products that enhance fitness efficiency) ▲Commas Company (sports recovery platform) ▲Poom-ae (wearable device for swimming analysis) ▲Humanics (AI-based digital healthcare robot) ▲Human Performance Lab (development of customized functional insoles).

CNT Tech CEO Jeon Hwa-seong said, “We plan to provide intensive support to sports startups to secure their domestic and international competitiveness,” and added, “We will actively invest through the sports mother fund and work to create a startup ecosystem that can help startups grow sustainably.”
