Inspeon , an IT solutions company, announced that it won the Minister's Award at the 'New Software Product Awards' hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT for its cloud-based enterprise EDI (electronic data interchange) platform 'Connect Service'.
The New Software Product Awards is a system that selects and awards excellent products developed by domestic small and medium-sized software companies, and the Minister's Award is given to 12 products and key developers every year. The winning products are also recommended as candidates for the 'Korea Software Awards' in the future.
The 'Connect Service', which won the Minister's Award this time, is a SaaS (Software as a Service) platform that supports companies to develop and operate EDI systems on the cloud without separate installation. It is characterized by reducing the burden of initial infrastructure construction by providing various functions such as on-demand self-service, multi-tenancy, document management, adapter development framework, and remote agent functions.
During the evaluation process, the service was recognized for its high technology and practicality, including minimizing work gaps and human errors, reflecting real-time data, applying OSGi-based EDI SaaS technology, and patents related to Blockly-based integrated program creation tools. The Connect service also previously won the Korean Intellectual Property Office Commissioner's Award (Silver Award) at the '2024 Republic of Korea Invention and Patent Competition'.
Inspien expects that this award will help Connect Service establish itself as an alternative that can simultaneously provide efficiency and cost savings in various industries, including overseas transactions.
