Cloud specialist Gabia announced on the 23rd that it has supplied 'Gabia Cloud (IaaS) exclusively for public institutions' to Siheung City and supported the technology infrastructure of 'Siheung Welfare ON', an artificial intelligence (AI)-based welfare service.
'Siheung Welfare On' is an AI service that provides customized welfare information to citizens based on a small large language model (sLLM) that has learned Siheung City's massive welfare data. When users enter questions on the city's main homepage, AI responds in real time 24 hours a day to help them easily find the information they need. The service was officially opened on the 17th.
Gabia provided a dedicated cloud environment for public institutions optimized for AI services, enabling Siheung City to operate a stable system with high security and independent performance. In particular, for the stable operation of AI models, a hybrid environment that flexibly links cloud resources and on-premise infrastructure was built, thereby simultaneously improving data processing speed and system efficiency.
Gabia's 'Public Institution Exclusive Cloud' is an infrastructure service developed with its own technology, guaranteeing a high availability rate of 99.9%. Currently, major public institutions such as the National Heritage Administration, the Korean Council for University Education, and the Korea Mining and Resources Corporation are also utilizing this service.
